The Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UAE has the pleasure to share with you the official press release of Sistemaeventi.it, creator and coordinator of Endurance Lifestyle, concerning the inauguration of the first Italian street dedicated to UAE, Via Emirati Arabi Uniti and Piazza Dubai.
The Municipality of Magione, Umbria region, the United Arab Emirates and Dubai have established a strong bond, destined to enrich their relationship in the years to come, thanks to the entitlement of a street and a square that took place this morning at Italia Endurance Stables & Academy, the modern training and breeding center for endurance sports horse on the hills of Agello.
The words of H.E. Saqer Nasser Al Raisi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Italy, full of pride, stressed that horses are “special meeting points between United Arab Emirates and Italy” and how through sport – as confirmed by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, solid bridges can be built for the integration of peoples and the meeting of different cultures”.
In this context – continued H.E. the Ambassador – the merits of Gianluca Laliscia are unquestionable, that in addition to being a champion of endurance, the soul of this center and a successful manager is a true ambassador of the values of sport and vision by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum “.
Clearly satisfied also the mayor of Magione, Giacomo Chiodini, who in addition to announcing that his town is the first in Italy to have Emirati Arabi Uniti Street and Dubai Square has appreciated “the will of the toponymy commission to reaffirm the strength of a synergy that will only enhance the Magione territory, the Trasimeno area, Umbria and Italy “. It is no coincidence that the regional President of Coni, Domenico Ignozza, spoke of the structure of Agello as “a sporting excellence and a point of reference for the entire national and international sporting movement”.
Today it was a goal, but also a starting point looking at the future: this is the meaning of the ceremony according to the President of the Umbria Region, Catiuscia Marini: “They are an institutional initiative and an entrepreneurial project born in the name of sport with great international prominence and that make it possible to tell Umbria in the world and its identity. We are here to show how sport is an excellent vehicle for cultural, social and economic relations and it is with this spirit that we look to the future of our relations with the United Arab Emirates, with great attention to Dubai Expo 2020, where our companies will know how to be protagonists”.
These places and this sports complex – reiterated Gianluca Laliscia, world champion endurance and creator of the entire project – will host the first international private academy in the world for the discipline of endurance, which is inspired by the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a great horse lover, convinced that sport is an important vehicle for cultural and social relations”.
