The Italian Government just published a new circular describing the new modalities to get an EU Covid Green Pass for Italian Citizens vaccinated or who have recovered abroad.
Starting from the fourth of August, Italian citizens and their relatives, who recovered abroad from Covid-19 or got vaccinated abroad against SARS-CoV-2 might ask, if they are on Italian soil, the issue of the EU Green Pass. To apply, the applicant needs to go to the ASL in charge for his territory, bringing in addition to a valid ID the following documents, depending on the kind of EU Green Pass you want to apply for:
a) Vaccinal Certificate issued by the foreign Sanitary Authority, that needs to report at least the following:
– name, surname, birth date;
– info about the vaccine(name and batch);
– injection date;
– issuing nation name, Sanitary Authority name.
For the issue of the EU Green Pass, only the following vaccines approved by the EMA and the AIFA are valid: Comirnaty (PfizerBioNtech); Spikevax (Moderna); Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca); COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen (Janssen-Johnson & Johnson).
b) Recovery certificate issued by the foreign Sanitary Authority, which needs to report at least the following:
– name, surname, birth date;
– information about the past SARS-CoV-2 infection, following a positive swab (first molecular swab date);
– issuing nation name, Sanitary Authority name.
The latter two certificates (“a” and “b”), to be valid for the Green Pass issue, need to be drafted in English.
