The United Arab Emirates resume issuing entry permits

In order to contain the spread of Covid-19, the United Arab Emirates had decided, on March 17, to temporarily suspend the issuance of visas.

Today, with the aim of easing restrictions and strengthening efforts to support the country’s economic recovery plans, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (FAIC), has decreed the resumption of the issuance of entry permits, to except for working ones.

The decision was made in response to current data represented in the package of precautionary measures and travel mechanisms adopted by the air transport sector, as well as the application of various practices aimed at combating the coronavirus pandemic which appear to represent the right balance needed between the implementation of precautionary measures Covid-19 and the return of tourists.
