Home loans: Houses and Land to be Distributed to Citizens

New directives of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates and Chairman of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, are Over 7 billion dirhams worth of housing loans were granted to 6,100 citizens in Abu Dhabi and exemptions for low-income retired citizens from repaying loans. The approval of the loans and exemptions, which is part of the Dh.5.5 billion 2020 housing packages, coincides with the celebrations of the 49th National Day, in light of the UAE leadership’s enthusiasm to maintain stability and ensure decent living standards for citizens, as well as strengthening their role in the country’s development process. More than 5,000 home loan approvals were issued this year, a demonstration of Sheikh Mohamed’s willingness to promote the Abu Dhabi government acceleration program, Ghadan 21, and double loans for UAE citizens.
