“Expo Dubai 2020, postponed to October 2021, will be the first major event to relaunch the internationalization of the Italian system after the coronavirus pandemic.” Paolo Glisenti, Commissioner General for Italy’s participation in Expo Dubai, said this during the signing ceremony of the “Export Agreement” at the Farnesina. According to Glisenti, the Universal Exposition will be one of the great visibility events of 2021 with innovative and updated modules.
“We at the Commissariat are working to make it an inclusive path that involves all members of the Queen’s cabin, regions, businesses, entities and signatories of the Export Pact,” said Glisenti.

The Commissioner-General for Expo Dubai underlined that so far 60 agreements have been signed and under definition with ministries, public bodies and universities, 16 are the regions and autonomous provinces that have joined and 50 the first companies already sponsoring or who are discussing the contracts. All this, underlined Glisenti, for the Italian rebranding of the economy “with the sectors of space, life science, sustainable energy, agro-food, fashion and culture that are showing growing interest”.

The plan, as can be read in the official document, was born “with the intention of relaunching the” Made in Italy “in the world in the current economic situation. On the impetus of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ON. Luigi Di Maio, was given the go-ahead for the first time to an inclusive path, involving not only the members of the control room for international Italy, but all the trade associations, territories and bodies responsible for public support internationalization “.
