Webinar “EAU: the opportunities for Italian companies now and after the COVID-19 pandemic”


From Wednesday 27 May Dubai is ready to reopen most of the commercial activities that have been closed as a precautionary measure against the spread of Covid-19, as you can also read in the news reported on the site.

To promptly seize the opportunities for recovery and offer essential guidelines to companies interested in the Emirate market, on 26 May 2020 at 2.30 pm Italian time, the Chamber organized a totally free Meeting via ZOOM dedicated to Italian Representatives with whom the Chamber collaborates steadily.

The meeting saw the participation of more than 70 lawyers and accountants who will be able to illustrate the topics discussed to the companies interested.

The speakers were Gorini Manuela, Accountant and Auditor, Marco Accossano, Attorney and Advocate in Cassation, as well as the Secretary-General of the Chamber Mr. Mauro Marzocchi.

The meeting lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes during which the UAE market opportunities for Italian companies were illustrated in light of the measures to support internationalization and exports launched by the Italian State and by individual Regions, highlighting the economic and fiscal aspects as well as the legal implications.

The Secretary-General then intervened by presenting the most important characteristics of the country in terms of population, infrastructure and business opportunities with updated information on the latest Italian export data.

Representatives actively participated with many legal, tax and business opportunity interventions and questions.
