Abu Dhabi and Dubai, according to the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Safest Cities Index 2021,
are the safest cities in the Middle East and Africa in 2021
The UAE capital scored “very high” for health safety and infrastructure safety, Abu Dhabi Media Office tweeted, citing EIU.
Strengthening its position as a safe place to live, work and invest, Abu Dhabi has topped the regional ranking in all four iterations of the Safe Cities Index since 2015.
In January, the capital of the UAE was ranked the safest city in the world for the fifth consecutive year, with Sharjah and Dubai in the top 10, in a survey conducted by the crowd-sourcing data website Numbeo.
Abu Dhabi ranked ahead of 431 cities around the world according to the Numbeo Quality of Life Index with a rating of 88.46 percent for safety.
