The National newspaper, one of the most important in the United Arab Emirates, highlights the progress of the works on the site of the next Universal Exposition, which will open its doors on 1 October 2021.
The equipment and materials necessary for the construction continued to reach the site despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic and eighty steel and concrete columns are already visible, the special reads.
The purely architectural aspects of the Pavilion are also in evidence: “The hulls of three overturned boats, painted in white, red and green, will be positioned on the structure to resemble a giant wave that will cover the exhibition space”.
